Over the past year, I was busy making plans-and then Life stepped in.

I had an eye stroke. Though I tried to continue working on my third book most of my concentration was on my reduced vision. Since 8 years old I have had the use of only my left eye and now everything was blurry. After months of doctor visits it was determined I needed to get eye injections. I was depressed. I needed to complete my third book (get pictures scanned), and I was stressed. Well, in August of 2023 I had a car accident. A man on his phone made an illegal left turn from the far right lane right in front of me. This accident led to pain in my shoulders, legs, hips. Getting up and getting around became difficult. My daughter stepped in, thankfully. Then I fell down, face first, while walking the dog. Talk about depressed! After 6 months of eye injections, motrin, vit D and ice packs, my physical body is much improved. However, about a month ago I was diagnosed with Vertigo which has abated 98%. Today I drink way more water, eat way less salt and try not to stress myself over Life’s difficulties because there has been fantastic news regarding my writing journey.
My third book, titled “Maude! Starring Beatrice Arthur In her own words “A Real Pussycat”, published July 12, 2024.

I started this Blog a few years back specifically to discuss with and possibly inspire others to share their experiences, successes, and knowledge with our fellows. Of course, I managed to forget about the glitches in life. My first book was about my father, Eddie Green, who did leave me with the knowledge that no matter what obstacles may pop up, one can always persevere and overcome.
I am so happy to still be a WordPress contributor. The people who share here brighten my days. Thank you so much for reading and participating in my journey. Any comments welcome. Oh! By the way, in the meantime and in between time, I received my very first Royalty check!!
Thanks, for stopping by!

I’m sorry I haven’t kept in touch. It looks like this was your last entry on this blog. Your journey writing that first book about your father was inspiring. I felt a kinship with you. I hope and pray you’re okay. I’m so grateful for our short time corresponding.
